Born 3rd of 4 sisters, (Mae, Tina & Chris) in Dallas Texas to the proud parents of Clifford and Mary Lucas. On or about the age of 4, our family relocated and settled in Natchitoches LA. where my parents, my siblings and I were sent to start a ministry at the Lake Street Church of Christ, in the Jackson Square Community of Natchitoches LA., by the late Bro. German McGilbra, minister of Dallas West Church of Christ, Dallas TX., where I am currently a member and Bro. Ambrose Lacaze Jr. is Minister. Our family traveled a lot to fellowship with other Sister Congregations. Daddy preaching and the “The Lucas Girls” singing.
